On Monday 12th December, early evening we lost Mum. She put up an amazing fight against cancer but it got the better of her. She was so strong and brave to the end. Thanks to the amazing tenacity and hard work of the hospice night nurse, mum slipped away peacefully in her home. Mum had been so brave over the years with her cancer. She was someone to aspire to be. Mum had a huge heart and always thought of others before herself. This was proven with all the arrangements she made before leaving us. We would have been completely lost without the hospice nurses and throughout the final weeks they were a huge source of strength to us all. So please help us support them so that they can carry on looking after families in the same way they looked after us. A huge hole has been made where Mum should be.
